I love this combination. Don’t be scared of the white interior, it cleans up fine with a wet wipe and looks amazing, makes it feel really bright and spacious inside.
TBH, I wasn’t a big fan of the wood laminate inserts that come with the black interior but it’s all personal choice at the end of the day. 👍🏻👍🏻
Choice is yours !
looks great, I've gone for black / black and 20" but like you not keen on the wood trim, think I will purchase some caps for them or get them wrapped

You can unscrew them and attach the plates to the body with double sided car body tape. Looks 100% better; Various options but I will take the ‘frame’ half off the front one and tape the new plate to the (flattish) back plate (so it’s frameless) and I’ll take the whole lot off the back and tape my new personalised plate directly to the boot.
Lots of You Tube vids about doing this and I think there is also a whole thread about it here.
I prefer to stick plate directly to the front without any frame but it may potentially interfere with radar sensor. I believe UK cars still have radar sensor. If not, its an easy install. I can always experiemnt and if the car complains, I can try the frameless option you suggested as I've seen that on YT allready so I have an idea. Saw few folks sticking vinyl plates and they look great but unsure about legality. Back plate is easy to handle.

Offered direct delivery at home, on 4th March, instead of Bluewater collection. Does anyone have any experience with this type of delivery from Tesla? I am concerned that if there is anything wrong with the car like usb ports not working, paint issue, etc, there is no support from Tesla. I appreciate any input as I am in panic mode about this delivery.
There would likely be little to no support from Tesla in person anyway, all they would do is say schedule a service appointment in the app, so you aren’t missing out.

The issue with the USB and Apple approved cables is only due to Apple devices sometimes not working with third party cables in certain situations.

I am reasonably sure that you will be check everything in detail before you accept the car and sign the forms confirming delivery.

I personally prefer picking up the car rather than a delivery driver bringing it to me.

Yeah, I hear you. Front is more of a problem to apply a stick on vinyl plate direct as the bumper is curved on all 3 axis. As the front has two parts (I believe it’s the same as M3), you can get a flat frameless look by removing the outer half and taping the plate to the remaining bit which is only slightly bent on one axis. Like you say, rear is easy. 👍🏻
Hopefully get the V5C in 5 days so will have a crack then.

It will be great to see how you will be able to overcome the inevitable engineering challenge. 😋

Can't find this being asked/answered, but with the recent news of matrix lights in America, do we know if the latest batch of Model Y's to the UK have matrix lights already?

Am I right in thinking that lots of cars (including new Model Y's) have the new lights, but none of the cars are software enabled to use them yet until America has approval (which they now do)?

A question for anyone trading in or who has traded in an ICE car with Tesla before. Is there a minimum amount of petrol that needs to be left in the tank? Ideally I'd like to drift in with 1 mile of petrol left (I consider this pay back for the Parcel Shelf, and Tesla aren't paying me for the petrol, just the car) but obviously I understand that there may be a minimum amount stated somewhere that I haven't seen...

I doubt it very much, certainly nothing in the terms about this. My other half filled out the tank just recently and got pick up on Saturday :-(

Beautiful. Initially ordered the same and changed it to black seats cos of kids. Should’ve stuck with the white. ☹️

I ordered on Oct 15th and still ain’t got a delivery date. Gone via lease who say VIN matched and EDD 02/03 to 19/03. No sms. Wondering if that was bogus dates. Getting impatient reading this forum. 😣

Nowhere they mentioned anything about the amount of fuel or when they called. When they called, they asked I make sure I give them V5C, service history documents, two keys and of course the car.
