NEMA 14-50 Out of stock?

Strange. Mine shipped the next day, and took 5 or so days to reach me in Nashville.

Ugh. Sounds like a few of us who had FedEx labels but no product available were left behind and they forgot to go back and fill those orders. I'll call tomorrow.

I ordered a 14-50 and Lightning cable on 6/7. Received email this morning that they shipped with delivery scheduled 6/12.

I’ll post an update when/if it gets delivered. Fortunately, I can get by with Level 1 @ 5 mph for a while.

Only Tesla could manage to take a product that they were producing more than a 1:1 ratio of to cars, stop including it with cars (so less than 100% of cars end up being sold with it), and then manage to be out of stock on it.

Boggles the mind.

Did they not *think* about this distribution problem when they were deciding whether to remove it from the default inclusion with the car?

Sorry for the smart&ss response... I too get by with 5mph charging and absolutely love my car, it’s just silly that Tesla messes up the simplest of things.

Just like that, I now have an adapter that has left the Tesla facility and is in FedEx’s hands!!

Jmjcsim - I didn’t take your response that way at all. I’m skeptical on arrival forecast, too.
My post was just an FYI / data point.

Hopefully we get our adapters this week and I can push some electrons through my shiny new 14-50 receptacle!

Prior to my M3 delivery in late May, I experienced a similar situation. After the "Out of Stock" condition was removed for 14-50 adapter, I was able to place the order on 5/16, got order shipping notification on 5/27 and received the adapter last week on 6/5. Hope this helps.

Ordered the 6-50 adapter online on May 30th after finding out my delivery center did not have any, nor did my local service centers (in Los Angeles). They sent me a tracking number on June 1st, but nothing has been shipped even after 10 days. Very frustrating to not be able to charge at Level 2 for almost 2 weeks now... Anybody have one they want to sell me?

UPDATE: Turns out the Lightning cable and NEMA 14-50 adapter were split into 2 different shipments.
Lightning on Fedex truck for arrival today (6/12).
14-50 sent FedEx, too - they say Friday 6/14 arrival.

I could be wrong but I feel like they are delaying orders that don’t have a vin associated with the account. Could have been chance but my adapter shipped the same day I took delivery.

As my delivery gets closer I realized that I should probably start ordering one these. How long does it take for them to re-stock?

Ordered one today through website not sure how long it will take to get here, recieved my SR+ today charging with 110 has been painful
