when checked on EPC.tesla.com, it shows up on model Y, not model 3, does this have fitment issues on model 3? Does it give different caster/ alignment?

They fit like a glove, I think Tesla wouldn’t sell to me if they didn’t fit.
You must be kidding me. They replaced mine May 6th and they did not use the new version you have.
Sure enough I am on here searching for solutions because my front left side is squeaking like a chirping bird. I've only driven on the replacement 5,000 miles.
My warranty expired in November.

I think they have an 1 year or 12000 mile on replacement parts. maybe ask if there is a manufacture warranty on the part.
They sent me an invoice for $359 to replace them again now. I'm not approving it. Also the part number is still the old version
Just request the new part, not sure why Tesla still uses old part, as they fail prematurely.
Because they made lots of the old parts and would have to write them off if they can’t use them? Any time Tesla does something that seems stupid, the answer is usually “it’s more profitable that way”.
I believe that there is a good comparison of those on YouTube. CNC is not critical - casted works as well, it just requires a mold. Joints and fixtures are important and here not all are the same.
