Wow... $5,000 State Rebate and no Sales Taxes. My Sales Tax in Ohio for my new LR Model Y was $4,740 that is almost a $10,000 difference!

Hello everybody! I just purchased my Model 3P on Monday, and today the price drop. Technically, I am within the 7 day return period. I would hate to do that. Does anyone know what’s been done in the past for people who bought just before the price drop? Refund of $2000? Tesla store credit?

I love the car, but am a little bummed about the $2000 price difference- that money could go towards window tinting, etc.

I had long forgotten about this. Love the car, and never returned it, but was a little disappointed that Tesla refused to provide a price adjustment for me. Today, I out of nowhere, I received a check from Tesla for the price adjustment! Holy cow, what a surprise!
