All Tesla has to do is to distinguish the right and the left turn signal indicator on the steering wheel or the yoke to different color.
Then no matter the position of the wheel or the yoke, you know what to push.

But you would have to take your eyes off the road.

Perhaps a better method would be to make the buttons feel different.

But I think I will quickly get used to them as they are. I have no worries at all.

Coloured button is not a solution lol. Presently the action is achieved without having to visually or physically search for the stalk position as it is fixed.
The buttons are mobile over a huge range of motion and tiny. Colouring them just reduces the visual search a minute amount. There's still a massive difference in ease of access.
I love a lot of teslas modifications that push boundaries even if they take a while to get used to but this is just a worse way of doing things.
