So, I find myself traveling along the M4 towards bristol. Using TACC for about 50 minutes with no issues and I'm thinking hmmm this is good, perhaps TACC is finally sorted. Then suddenly, I get a fairly hard phantom brake event while was passing a car transporter carrying... Teslas.

Ill just add my recent trip up A1 for 250 miles. Had hardly any phantom braking problems until that drive, where AP was absolutely useless. So much I had to apologise to my family for how *sugar* the car was. How can it be so rubbish compared to other car manufacturers?

It used to be pretty much flawless until now.

Just got back from Southampton to Doncaster, no problems with AP for the whole route!

Ok so this is odd, I disabled the AP Beta the other day in the menu and within 30seconds got my first phantom brake this year. Does TACC use the old stack? I enabled AP (sadly had to do it whilst parked) and it's been fine since.

So if you want to use TACC make sure AP Beta is enabled maybe?!?

I would think that the only practical difference between AP Beta and TACC is lane assist
