Registered 3/31 around 5 pm Pacific. Don't own any Teslas. Ordered performance/red/performance upgrade on 6/30, then edited on 7/3 to remove the performance upgrade. My edit button disappeared earlier today, and a Tesla delivery adviser emailed me today saying I have a VIN (but I don't see one yet on the Tesla order page).

My delivery window is August-October, but this is much earlier than I expected (was originally thinking it'd be October/November).

Based on my S, though, I’m sure that there will be. No way around it.

RWD Teslas are definitely quieter in this respect.

OTOH, my experience is that AWD models are noticeably more stable under hard acceleration.

A trade-off worth making!

That’s been my license plate (on seven cars now) since decades before Supercharging. More of a life philosophy than a financial statement. Make life easy, not complicated, and don’t fear paths not trodden by the herd. A perfect path for Teslans!

you can always finance fully after the fact at the same rates. Usually a lender will give up to a year to finalize financing and it will be much lower than Tesla rates.
