I saw my first model 3 in person yesterday!

    I was super excited.

Sorry about the poor quality. I didn't want to be a creep and follow it but it turned into a government center across the street from my neighborhood. This was the best picture I could get in a hurry.

Those are the factory 18" wheels, but with the 'Aero' wheel-covers removed.

agreed! However, I think the red is the most dramatic. That's gonna be my choice!

I think I might have seen a M3 go past me this morning... has anybody heard of a M3 showing up in Atlanta yet?

Not to be picky, but there is/was never any color called "seal grey." Years ago, the Model S had a color called "dolphin grey", but was more bluish grey in color and was not as metallic looking. I think it was last offered in early 2014, but might have been only late 2013. The current color offered is called "midnight silver metallic."

Maybe i'm being picky, but aren't they supposed to mount the tires with the RED DOT opposite of the valve stem and tire pressure monitor?

Are you seeing dots? Those color-coded sidewall markings serve a purpose - Tire Business

Maybe they use a road-force balancing unit so they don't need to rely on the red dot for a close enough mounting.

Seems as if that's only for steel rims anyway. I guess lining the dot up with the valve stem makes it easier to balance the tires but isn't essential.

I agree. Any good shop and hopefully OEM’s use road force balancing today. Superior to older balancing techniques.

Thanks, rarely out that way, but at least we know a silver 3 is out in Austin somewhere!
