one of the first things i was mildly disappointed about my s is the rear view visibility. quickly adjusted and got over it.
Are quarterly numbers based on production or sales?

This is cool. I have VIN #1249 of the Model S.A couple of hours ago I came across this M3 parked in Pasadena. I wouldn't have noticed it but the aero wheels caught my eye. I snapped a couple of pix and as I was walking away I heard a bunch of forum voices in my head saying "You didn't get the VIN?!?!"
So I went back and snapped one more photo (and felt like a creep). I'm glad I did because not only is it an impressive number along the production line (#1249), but if the VIN decoder is correct, this appears to be a dual motor performance version. Wish I'd stuck around to talk to the owner.

Although they do usually list how many vehicles are "in transit", so really both.Deliveries to the customer.
I saw 3 model 3's today. The blue one I was behind I got a decent look at. One thing I noticed is when I'm behind it in my Honda Civic, the back trunk looks higher than I thought. I wonder if this blocks some of the view when looking out the back.

And I think in the January report they will REALLY hype the in transit.Although they do usually list how many vehicles are "in transit", so really both.
That is a heartwarming VIN!
