Agreed. Could not care about the start-of-drive vibration (and I have that one, too!).Dang, we need someone to install this that had the subject thread vibration (the 38-50mph one).....

Over 900 people on Teslafi now... Given no glowing reports here, it might be safe to assume this was another Tesla, "deep fake"....Agreed. Could not care about the start-of-drive vibration (and I have that one, too!).
You’re sure? And you’re on 2023.44.1 for sure? So hard to believe anything these days, you know…I just took a drive after the update and I am happy to report my mid speed (38-50 mph) vibration under light acceleration has been significantly reduced if not eliminated completely. It could be a fluke or wishful thinking, but I do not think so.
At this point I cannot comment on the initial vibration we all experience on a cold start as the car had only been sitting for about three hours before I did the update and test drive.
Anyone else?
That’s a completely different problemAny .44 users that can report on the hard acceleration shudder?
Yes, but its supposed to be fixed by .44 too...That’s a completely different problem

According to who? (The SB wasn't very specific about what it was supposed to fix, but only mentioned a vibration.)Yes, but its supposed to be fixed by .44 too...
Storage? Why not drive it year round, is there something better?
According to a MXP member that took it several times to the SC.According to who? (The SB wasn't very specific about what it was supposed to fix, but only mentioned a vibration.)
I have a model 3 LR, Model Y Performance, and a Lexus IS350 that get used during the winter. Didnt feel like buying yet another set of winter wheels and tires, when it’s not needed. I also park a couple other cars for the crappy canadian winters as well.
Exactly. Was about to reply to the OP to understand what this thread is about, before posting on some not thread responsive topic - but concluded, “why bother, since they didn’t understand the purpose of this thread”.That’s a completely different problem
Let’s hope so…the 40 MPH shudder is literally the only thing wrong with my car. It’s not a show stopper, but the longer I‘ve had it the more it’s annoyed me.Yes, but its supposed to be fixed by .44 too...
I didn't think the release notes mentioned anything vibration related.According to who? (The SB wasn't very specific about what it was supposed to fix, but only mentioned a vibration.)
Its under “minor improvements” umbrellaI didn't think the release notes mentioned anything vibration related.
I haven't seen the release notes, but the service bulletin only mentioned a vibration issue that is resolved by 2023.44 or newer on the Plaids. This is what it says:I didn't think the release notes mentioned anything vibration related.
Some model year 2021-2023 Model S Plaid and Model X Plaid vehicles running a vehicle software version earlier than 2023.44 may require a vehicle software update to address a mild vibration felt from the accelerator pedal and steering yoke/wheel that may occur during acceleration. This behavior does not affect the operation or safety of the vehicle. The software update adjusts certain motor controls during acceleration that may reduce the vehicle's rated range by up to 2 miles (3.2 km). Inspect the vehicle software version, and if necessary, update the vehicle software to version 2023.44 or later.
Whenever someone gets the update, I'd be interested if it mentions anything during the update to the effect of "Updating motor firmware" on the screen etc. I'll check myself, whenever this update comes to me (in 2027 cause I stupidly bought FSDj).I haven't seen the release notes, but the service bulletin only mentioned a vibration issue that is resolved by 2023.44 or newer on the Plaids.
