POLL: 85kWh December Email Delivery

Hey all,

I'm curious how Tesla did with regards to delivering on their promise to the folks who opted in for the famous 'December Delivery' email (not so good for me, here it is 1/1/13 and I have no VIN and am still sitting with my delivery window 'unchanged' 12/15 - 12/31).

I'm adding a selection for 'I chose 'NO', to get a sense of the ratio of people who didn't choose the December delivery option.

One more thing for folks who answer, if you could give your sequence number below along with your answer that would be helpful as well.

P#3223, VIN#2205, Delivery window 12/15 - 12/31, shipped 12/22. Its sitting in Detroit with no estimated delivery date.

P6852. VIN#28XX. Delivery window 12/15 - 12/31. Received a VIN on 12/20. Car was ready 4pm on 12/30. Picked it up 11am on 12/31 from the factory.
The factory was closed yesterday (and today I think). It seems they put out a tremendous push to ship what they could by 12/31, and now they're taking a break.

...which is odd because we have the same car, except I have silver instead of grey wheels. I'd recommend giving them a call tomorrow.

Calling doesn't help. I was in constant communication with a product specialist as well as my delivery specialist since mid December, and I still ended the month with nothing. As far as I can tell they simply decided to not build my car. I'm sure that is not the case, but given that they provide no reason for their delay, that's all we're left with. Maybe they have something against people from Washington :/

Delivery wndow was Dec 19 to Jan 2. paid in full Dec 18 but car is still at factory. Will hopefully get to me Jan 10 or 11

I answered yes and I got my VIN last week and the car has shipped. It should get to the east coast next week. This is all commensurate with the information that my Product Specialist gave me from the start of the process.

Replied "Yes", got nothing. From reading these boards, overall I haven't really noticed a whole lot of deliveries in the Chicagoland area, either.

Same here nothing yet for P6523. In Chicago. Talked to a service rep who said about 50 cars delivered in the Chi-town area
so far. seems kind of low considering our gas prices here.

Looks like you have the highest VIN that was put on a truck in 2012.

I'm jealous of mark and PeterB. PeterB, I think I remember you from another thread but don't think I realized you didn't get the e-mail. I'm surprised at no-e-mail but getting the car now!

For the record, #8061, got the e-mail, been in communication on-and-off with a DS, but I've got nothing so far (no VIN, nor car). ;-( Last I heard, I'll probably get a VIN in the next week or so. We'll see; if so, I'm hoping I'll get the car by the third week of January. Somehow I had been thinking 2nd week, but that makes no sense; I'm ever hopeful, heh.
