No, mirror still vibrates
@Hayseed_MS My solution to this was to install a counterweight on the outer/upper corner - a small blindspot mirror

Well, got the car back, and so far, so good.... Looks like the 2nd generation half shafts might do the trick. Details attached...

When was your car built?Day 4 Update: Well, so far so good, but… I haven’t put a lot of miles on it. I have drive. It every day, wet and dry, and purposefully look for the issue to re-emerge, but not yet. Too early to declare victory, however.

@Rambino Exactly the same experience and thought. Started at 2200 miles and I told the SC I thought it was more electrical than mechanical. They ignored that and replaced the half shafts.Curious if it comes back?.. I didnt have this issue on my Plaid for the first 2200 miles, then it appeared. To me it feels more like an electrical current buzz, like a grounding issue. Seems to happen at cetrain harmonic moment with just the right electrical current and drive speed (2% throttle and 37-45 mph).. It doesnt bother me, it affects nothing, and I consider it part of the electrical nature of the car..

Well, I'll hope the later cars got the 2nd generation driveshafts. Mine is MF452xxx, built 10/20/21. I guess I'll have to wait until I put 2200 miles on it to see, as well.First week of August. Vin 4294xx
We’d need to see what @jebinc has under his car in terms of part number stamp, and then we can compare to other cars.Well, I guees

Ah yeah that’s true. It’s bloody cold out, though, and I’m not climbing under my car in the wet. Do we even know if those part numbers are even visible?
And I’m not climbing under you car either!Ah yeah that’s true. It’s bloody cold out, though, and I’m not climbing under my car in the wet. Do we even know if those part numbers are even visible?
Yes, as I posted earlier, the part number tag is clearly stuck to the shaft by the universal joint. And I’m not climbing under you car either!

Nice. Alright! Who’s climbing under their car (Californians, looking at you) to get the part number off their car?
Day 6 Update: Cold, dry and higher SoC level (87%). Vibration returns, as somewhat expected. As you may recall, I always suspected it's electrical, but Tesla insisted on new half shafts.Day 4 Update: Well, so far so good, but… I haven’t put a lot of miles on it. I have drive. The same story with X. They were making new half-shafts for X a few times and they are still failing... And car starts shaking after 10-15k miles under hard acceleration. No jack. Happy to compare to yours when we next get together. Not convinced about the bad batch argument, mind. This may just be a part that prematurely fails.
Interesting, my car's BD is 6/18 and it has 433 VINFirst week of August. Vin 4294xx
Ugh. Even though I didn’t believe it would be the fix, I wanted to believe. Bleh. Useless, as usual, Tesla.
