If you have a pearl white Model X with powder coated 20" wheels (any color), could you post a few pictures? Would like to see how the powder coated wheels would look on my Pearl White Model X. I have just bought four 20" stock wheels with tires that I can drop off at the shop anytimes.

I dropped of the car today to a shop for powder coating, they charge reasonable price for the wheels, and asks $3 per wheel nut and $5 per center piece. Although it is only $80 more to do all, the business owner is honest enough to warn me that because those are plastic parts, the paint might come off quickly. I said the don't do it, but I know it definitely will look better if everything is black...

@indy360 , I noticed you have a picture of the wheels where the nuts and center piece are silver, and pictures of them being all black, could you please kindly share your method of blackening those small parts? Thanks in advance.

Got them done at Exoticar in Westwood. Anthony's the guy and he is very responsive and nice. Lot's of Teslas go through there. They're right behind the Tesla Service Center actually. $200/wheel. Turn around time is 2-3 days. I had to leave my car there for the duration.

Got mine done there too! Great shop!

I don't think so because the car has to be the same when dropped off. I wrapped the chrome and powder coated wheels just to avoid fees when dropped off at lease end.

Did the same thing. Powder coat - Ultra Black Chrome. I also spray painted the center caps.

Neither. Came with P90DL.

Looks more gray but I know that happens in pics.

I am still deciding on going with black gloss on my slipstreams as well and I have the solid black paint color.

$1000 including road force balancing. Pretty much any color or finish you want.

They have loaner wheels for MS, not sure about X.

The Onyx 22's from Tesla are matte.

Thinking about getting a set of the 20's as a winter package and having them painted. Need to find someone local to do it though.
