Pulled the trigger on 2015 P85D CPO

It was 12 days from order to pickup and that included Thanksgiving. The car was definitely cleaned up and detailed as I can smell the familiar cleaning solution that most detailers use to steam an interior. AND it wasn’t completely dry when I picked it up because my pants were damp when I got home. Here are some pics. If you look close you can still see some of the marks from the cleaner going back and forth on the carpet.

Keep in mind it rained here on Thursday and Friday and I have two small kids so it’s already getting dirty

It looks similar to what mine looked like in the images but mine has a couple more scratches. Luckily the scratches ended up looking worse in the images then they really are. Based on how my car turned out I suspect yours will be just as clean. Seat bolsters are a good indicator of overall interior condition and yours look good. I went into the whole thing prepared to spend a few thousand dollars in misc repairs and cleaning but it’s not going to be necessary.

Here are the images Tesla provided for mine.

Also, I wouldn’t worry too much about that wheel damage. It’s a used car, so it’s not gonna be perfect. When it comes to cars it’s so much less stressful to have a non-perfect car so that when it inevitably gets a scratch or you curb check wheel you just shrug it off because the car wasn’t perfect to begin with.

When I first curbed my turbines on my P85D I almost cried because the car was perfect. Now all four wheels are curbed to death and the front passenger side is bent along with a few dents or scratches (my parents did this, my P85D had no scratches or dents with me) so the car is no longer perfect (probably not even fair condition) especially with the miles being racked up now. My P100D however wasn't perfect on delivery but even if I curbed my Silver Turbines I would've cried again. My wife curbed her car's wheels on delivery day (trying to leave the SC she bumped a curb).

Finally, got the car on Sat. The car was in perfect condition, fully detailed (exterior, interior and both trunks) and they even replaced the tires (used tires, but more than half tread). The whole process was super smooth, nothing like what I have read in the forum.

No scratches anywhere in the car, looks better than the pictures that were shared.

Hey congrat, I love the color and so happy to hear that everything’s in perfect condition!
Hope future potential CPO buyers will inspire their motivations by the story like this. :)

Congratulations! Our "inventory" 2015 P85D+ was almost flawless when we took delivery with 2,901 miles on it in August 2015... and has been extremely reliable ever since. Absolutely love our P85D+ that replaced our Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV (P85D+ has more cargo space) and 505hp Corvette Z06 (P85D+ is over a full second faster 0-60 and simple to launch)... plus costs ONE-FORTH per mile in "fuel" !!!
