Let's have play-by-play the discussion here?

    Elon sounds confident!

    Really putting things in perspective.

Usually just jump right into questions. I think it's good for Elon(I think delivery guy is going to talk next as well) to expand on key points.

Agreed. A way of taking command of the call and what you want to communicate.

Elon paid full retail for his Model S. LOL.

I love Jason, new CFO: "My instructions from Elon are clear: Cash is king".

Tesla will be independent going further, reckless self-financed growth!

Answering the question on how inventory has stayed at about same value even though they sold a lot of inventory cars, the answer was they're building inventory of Model X parts/partly built Xs. Fits well with the idea of missing/slow supply of some important core components. There may be a "flood" of Xs coming soon.

I'm very disappointed in the Q4 performance. Rev, EPS, GM, all missed quite big time. But the core may be continuing massive CapEx without raising capital in the guidance. Let's see if they can live up to that.

AJ (Jonas) asking hard questions. Got Elon to admit they actively supressed demand for the X.

Elon admits "too many great things" implementet at the same time with the X, should have been done gradually...

He's being very honest in this call.

Elon's estimate: Q2 X production: average 700-800/week, peak (exit?) rate: 1000/week. That is a quick ramp.

He certainly seems like getting the X out the door has taken its toll on him: mentioned hubris on his part to try and get too much done at one time. Its good to see him mature as an exec, but hopefully he does not lose too much of his optimism.

Tesla Energy revenue could take off in Q4.

Current X run rate: Elon doesn't want to give detailed info.

I really liked this answer. Basically, people will go out of their way to misinterpret this level of detail, so I don't want to give it.

Elon: To the best of our knowledge, you should not worry about the Gigafactory limiting Model 3.

Elon, I love it when you talk dirty. Gigafactory on track, battery supply will not be a constraint for Model 3, incentives for GF are large in absolute terms but small in relative terms (relative to revenue) because revenue is going to be huge.

Are they going to have Andrea last again? Why can't she be first for once?

Andrea wanted him to say they're expecting cost below $100/kWh in 2020, but he just said: longterm... I think it was kind of implied he expects this sooner rather than later.
