Only my 2nd X sighting in the wild! Today on Gandy and 4th, heading west. I'll forgive them for not being as excited to see me. We were stopped side by side several times and they wouldn't even look over. Boo.

Why did you post a Model X sighting in the Model S thread?

> Why did you post a Model X sighting in the Model S thread? [Lil Rick]

Ok, how we s'posed to know the difference??

It looks like three things may need explaining.

1. Btrflyl8e and I are good friends who make fun of each other all the time. My original post was nothing more than a gentle ribbing and, believe me, she is tough enough to take it!
2. There is a Random Model X sightings thread in the Model X section.
3. The easiest way to tell the difference between Model S and Model X in a picture such as that is the door handles. On a Model S, the rear door handle is in the traditional location. On a Model X, the rear door handle is at the front edge of the door, right next to the front door handle. Well, on the Model X they are buttons instead of handles, but whatever. I'm exhausted.

4. I only read half of what drivel you post anyway.

I got so excited I forgot where I posted it. Tough room!

Ok, the world is awash with Tesla spawn but sadly I've only spotted one MS in the wild (away from SCs). My clue was the big 'T' on the hatch door as it sped past me in the passing lane. Keep in mind that to me almost any newish sedan (@50ft @50mph) looks like an MS. So does the MX also sport that big T on the hatch?
