Rattling Pano Roof

I tried that, several layers in fact, with no luck.

You might be the 2 percent then. Does your roof rattle badly side to side when Open? I guess it could be those 4 bolts loose?

No, its not the bolts, I already tightened them. The glass is pretty solid when its open, it does not move side to side. It is 100% related to the new gasket that they put in there because it never made a noise before that. When I vent - the noise is gone.

So I had enough of this noise. I went out and bent the front tab to about a 45 degree angle and the noise is 95% gone. So felt tape and 45 degree angle worked. Checked at 60mph and no new wind noise.

Can you post a picture? I have the same rattle. Mine only happens at very hot or very cold temps. I tried all kinds of things. Adding foam, felt tape at all kinds of parts including various layers at the metal tongue. Nothing helped.

I'll add pictures later today. Bad new is the rattle came back, however not nearly as bad as before. It used to rattle while driving down smooth roads... not it just does it when going over bumps.

I am having the same issue on my 2013 Model S after a Sun roof service visit. I use 3 layers of masking tape On that one metal lip and so far is good.

My issue continue after my last post. I took the car back and they replaced the this part:
SEAL-STOP BUMPER(1037067-00-A)

so far good No noice at all.
