Rear camera usual quality?

Hi

Recently purchased a M3P which has a warranty but not with Tesla as it's a 2019. Anyway loving the car however unless it's just me but the rear camera seems out of focus as you can see in these pictures , however ik not sure if the rear camera quality is average or I have a bad camera.

I do have FSD which doesn't seem to care

Yep. That's about right for maximum gain.

Pretty dark area. Check resoulution again in brighter lighting.

Mine was similarly unclear today. Wiped the lens with my finger and was ok again.

Can confirm that looks similar to my 2019 Model 3. The backup camera is mostly functional in dark conditions, but does look pretty terrible.

I keep a squirt bottle in the car for cleaning the lens. In winter snowy conditions it gets absolutely covered with salt and smutz.

... and try not to grind dirt into the outer lens surface by dry wiping ...
