FYI - that software bug delay that @Stro pointed out the other day is real.

I have been waiting over an hour at the SC for them to apply some unspecified software update.

My estimated delivery date now shows 1/28-2/1.

What if the "fit and finish" is something to do with the falcon wing doors? If those can't be adjusted on the spot, if they're having trouble opening/closing, it sounds like it might be unsolvable even with service looking into it. That, to me, is the deal breaker.

It's the NHSTA gaming while driving recall firmware. They can't sell cars that don't have that fix. It shouldn't take longer than 45 minutes after it's staged.

Tesla has a history of doors and frunks not closing correctly due to seals not compressing easy enough when new. Often times once the seals are compressed for some days, the doors work as designed.

My two new refresh model S - passenger door sucks to close and the frunk seal prevents the frunk from closing smoothly.

Dropped off the baby as soon as I could to this shop. Got matte white wrap with ceramic coating, window tint, and painted calipers + Tesla emblems. It turned out amazing! Waited 1.5 years for this bad boy and now it’s clean! I’d highly recommend getting any wraps/tint done here if you’re in OC or LA. The shop is called Elevance and located in Hawaiian Gardens/Cerritos area.

Those white calipers are sick!!!!
