Yes - minor - wrong floor mat - panel gap on the frunk - paint issue on the door handle. All corrected. The driver side falcon wing door was misaligned and still not perfect.
I took my plaid X on a trip to NV. We stopped at Tahoe and the computer started with several errors and the backup camera froze. It was 39 degrees outside. My March 2022 X is the worst of my 9 Tesla's by a lot - sad.
I have the same issue with my new plaid. The driver and passenger door take a noticeable more amount of force to close compared to my 2018 X performance. I hope the service guy is right and they will "break in" over the next month.
BTW - My new S plaid has a problem passenger door handle.
I picked up my plaid today. Other than the paint issues, misaligned panels (doors/frunk) and missing hardware. It is a great car.
I will schedule the first service later today. Hopefully they can fix the list of issues quickly.
The good news is the service center is getting so good at...
Schedule for pickup this afternoon of my plaid. Just received a call to reschedule due to door misalignment. Not sure what that means but definitely prompts me to make a much more detailed review before accepting it.
So sad - after 8 Tesla deliveries they keep getting worse. My model S...
My experience so far (6 months) - is completely the opposite. No one will race me. The Lambo, Mclaren and even modified Challengers wont even pull up next to me after they see the badge. They all know - dont mess with a plaid.
My delivery changed to April this morning - Monday it changed from February to March. What a clusterf$%.
My delivery time has changed 1-2 times a month since Nov - plus a text in January stating delivery was schedule for the last week in January.
I wish there was an X plaid...
I think the biggest difference - no one will try to race you. I have had P85D, P90D, P100D, Performance model 3 - people always want to race.
4 months of Plaid - no one. Nothing - not the 458, not the hellcat, not the 720S - they all know...
Both it is mainly in the app but sometimes it is in the car. The scary stupid part - it asks me if I would like to ignore it and continue driving. I check every time just to make sure something didnt come loose but...not cool.
I picked up a LR today. The car was perfect...if you dont count the missing rear package shelf (the one that covers the lower trunk storage and the missing license plate frame - both are being delivered "short" due to supply chain issues. The SA said they were delivering most cars short parts...
I tried to drive my P3D to work today. I made it to the end of the block - turned around swapped the P3D for the Plaid. It feels small and basic compared to the smooth plush plaid.
The P3D is probably going to be a track day only car now.
I love the yoke - one of my favorite parts about the car but I agree it is annoying to have 3 Teslas with completely different user interfaces.
I prefer the new interface. The auto shift is 90% accurate and I like one button for the autopilot. I have a new X on order.
BTW - I switch...
Very true but I suck at 4 wheels and I am slow. A seat and brakes are all I need (I dont count tires).
My race bike, track bikes and street bikes are all about suspension.
Interesting...I found the opposite. If I drive my wife's X or my P3 - I immediately miss my yoke.
My wife's X has 4 stalks!
Funny thing - the stalks are backwards. The plaid is a swipe down to reverse - 3 and X stalk down is forward.
I would like the horn button moved or bigger but I...
After driving my P100D for the first time in 3 months and driving the plaid 3 months. Plus owning a model S P85D, 3 performance
I am shocked how cramped the X feels compared to my plaid. The plaid cabin feels so much more open. I love the yoke and why does the P100D have three stalks...
I apologize if this was discussed. I didnt read all 162 pages.
I am hoping Elon gives out the beta to the bottom safety scores - I am sure it would be a good reference set of data for FSD
3 types of people.
Plaid buyers who absolutely had to have a plaid.
Long range buyers who absolutely want long range and dont care about speed.
People who like confirmation about their purchase.
BTW - I absolutely had to have a plaid - no choice - no option. I love my plaid. I am worried I...
For me the best benefit of the safety score feature - I will not buy FSD on my next Tesla. Scoring 63 most likely means I will never get the release to use what I paid for...
My March LR order delivery date has moved too many times to count. It moved from the last week of October 2 weeks ago to Nov last week. Today is says Dec-Jan. I should have bought the Porsche in March and got a years of enjoyment out of it.
I sure hope someone smarter than me has reviewed the data and is making a decision based on facts - not politics.
Leaf blowers and small gas engines are loud and pollute - yes. I own two electric leaf blowers and several cordless landscaping tools. I can afford it and they work well for my...
3 power walls - 12.6 kW system + PG&E requirements = $80k
A side note - it took 2 years to get it completed.
This law will hit landscapers the hardest.
