1. Does anyone have a link to the actual article?

2. IMO Obama is just simply DEAD WRONG on this as it's being portrayed in this picture/snippet. For the umpteenth time: There is no "Russia"! There is just merely the Russian Dictator and his minions. If Ukraine defeats the Dictator and his minions, then 'Russia' could very well Disintegrate as many in this thread have also elaborated on. And how is Ukraine going to be vulnerable then, if 'Russia' disintegrates and perhaps also rids 'itself' of the Dictator and the minions, and perhaps even starts to actually 'grapple with' it's history like Germany did after WW2?... Yeah – it's far from a given outcome – but it isn't completely impossible either.

If there is a shortage of pilots, perhaps further developments could have brave western F-16 and Gripen pilots volunteering under the cover of the Ukrainian flag. There is much historical precedent for this, particularly in the case of Russia and China supporting their proxy forces in Korea and Vietnam while claiming not being a party to those conflicts. Since these planes would not leave Ukrainian territory, anyone shot down could not be taken captive by Russia.

There is more than just pilots. A team of ground crew is necessary for each aircraft as well as as a supply chain of spare parts and ground equipment specifically for that aircraft. They can get western volunteers for the ground crew too, but the number of people who are currently certified on the Gripen both to maintain it and fly it are limited. A total of 271 have been built of all versions (the early versions are not fully interoperable with NATO equipment), and Sweden has about 100 in inventory. The rest have been sold to other countries.

This, but also, why would Ukraine be different from any other sovereign nation, TĂĽrkĂŻe, Latvia, Lithuana, Estonia. And ofcourse, Ukraine should join NATO to keep the thugs out.

I honestly think that this is just an observation of proximity. As long as Russia (or it's successor) is next to Ukraine, it has an advantage and an interest that the US does not share. It is not to say that Russia or it's successor will necessarily continue it's adventurism should it's politics evolve. That said, we certainly should have and should now be less slow to help defend Ukraine. It was a mistake to not signal more support in 2014. And not just by the US. Western Europe should have stood up.

A wimp for not willing to give more effort and quick to give up. Trump sent lethal weapons at the behest of his staff which was a much better idea than Obama just sending non lethal aid.

From 2014: Ukraine pleads for more aid, Obama says no:

Obama Refuses to Budge on Lethal Aid Despite Poroshenko's Passionate Plea in Congress

He suffers from the same condition as Clinton and now Biden....they are all lawyers....they believe more in due process than in right and wrong. The classic case of Clinton not taking decisive preemptive action against the leader of AQ and Biden not wishing to give weapons who’s range exceeds the juridiction

Zelenskyi stated that the US has permitted Ukraine to use HIMARS to strike at the Kharkiv region's border but emphasized that this is insufficient. He noted that Russia launches attacks from bombers based at distant airfields, which Ukraine lacks the weapons and consent from allies to target.

As to how:

One of the two canals connecting the Caspian Sea to the outside world is the Volga-Don Canal, which links it to the Black Sea via the Sea of Azov. This canal is 63 miles long and, as the name suggests, connects the Don and Volga Rivers. Its primary purpose is commercial transport.
However, during the spring and summer months, when the canal is not frozen, Russia uses it to move warships and military supplies between the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea. Ships from Russia’s Caspian Flotilla have played a direct role in supporting Russia’s invasion of Ukraine since 2022.

According to CNN report the steel version of the abrams tank isn't performing well in Ukraine. Cheap drones have any easy time knocking them out.
Retired general says B.S. on complaints of Abrams not performing well, but doesn't address the main issue with cheap drones knocking out the tanks. Also doesn't address that the U.S. version has composite armor, where as Ukraine gets the steel version. 4 minutes into the video.
