Sentry Mode on AP2 - Can I get my footage?

So this happened today at my parking lot at work. Of course no one left a note. Sentry mode was running but I am on AP2.0 so don't have the ability of recording via USB. Is it still possible to call Tesla and get the footage?

Definitely call them ASAP but have not heard anyone in your situation has actually gotten footage yet ... good luck!

Its strange that they'd have "Sentry mode" and instructions within the UI to place a USB stick, only for it to be depositing garbage files into the USB... annoying, lol.

That sucks. Is it dented at all? Hopefully not very expensive to repaint. Shouldn’t be too bad if you don’t use a Tesla certified shop.

Tesla is shamelessly lying about sentry mode on AP2 right now, so no, there is no way for you to retrieve video from Tesla or anyone else.

You want to know the real kicker??? not only this is basically a fake car alarm, it drains your battery quick.. so it drains battery and still doesn't provide any video to protect us.. WTF??

Agreed for the missing footage, but did anybody actually see the alarm going off on AP2 cars, at least?
I tried harassing mine but didn't manage to get Bach playing.

I tried the same briefly after I got the sentry mode update but was also unable to trigger any alarm.

I'm going to have Kinkos (are they a thing still?) print me a Sentry Mode Eye and I'm going to tape it to my monitor to deter thieves. It'll save me a bunch of battery life.
