Sharp seat rail trim edges

Have you ever noticed this angled piece of trim on the front seat rails? It's sharp! We've managed to scratch several pairs of shoes with these corners. Anyone else has this problem? We're tempted to cut it and smooth the edges around it.

Hmm. Haven't experienced that myself. Thanks for the warning!

Perhaps instead of cutting it off, you could attach some black foam or something instead. That way you aren't permanently altering anything.
