Q2 non-GAAP net income was $26 million, or $0.20 per share. This excludes lease accounting, certain non-cash items, and one-time charges of $16 million associated with the payoff of our DoE loan nine years early. Including all these items, GAAP net loss was $31 million or $(0.26) per share.

Some negatives:
No raised guidance for the year.
"There are still some bottle necks in our supply chain that need to be resolved. While we are dealing with these bottlenecks, there remains some uncertainty in our ability to increase production as rapidly as we would like."

Great report, great solid earnings beat. But is it enough for a POP-N-SQUEEZE tomorrow?!?

I really dont hope we get another SPWR on that. If they estimated even 22k delivered this year, it would be so much better.

This is all going to depend on the conf call. The majority of the Q1 gap up came during the conf call itself, not the ER report.

Yup! Let's hope Elon let's it rip as usual and that Deepak has to step in and cut him off several times. Spill the beans! Tell 'em Gen III development has come a long way. Tell 'em about bigger battery for Model X. Tell 'em that the "bottlenecks in production" will soon be solved and that the factory is ready to scale up as soon as this has been dealt with! Tell 'em that 25% gross margin is just the beginning and that they are going after Porsche at 35%!

Im confused. Was GAAP net income -(0.26) or $0.05? I'm hearing two different numbers...

It is! It truly is!

Just like Julian said: A beat is a beat! And this is a serious trouncing!
