The Arachnids really enhance the looks of the cars. Fingers crossed that I join "the club" sometime this year.

Question for the group:
What tires do you have installed?

I went with the Falken 510s. I wanted to try them out as most use the Michelins. They are less expensive. So far, handling is great but only time will tell regarding longevity.

Most if not all referral arachnids come with Michelin Pilot SS. Amazing to me how the spiders really ‘pop’ out with certain colors. Anxious to see other colors. Would love to see them on a signature red S!

What tire pressure (cold) do you set your arachnid wheels at?

Also does it bother anyone else that the avatar wheels in app and MCU are slightly different that the actual wheels (lug nut placement)?

Yes the service center sets the arachnids to 42 PSI.

It wouldn’t be the first time the SC has set the wrong tire pressure. All the 21” wheels and tires have the same spec for psi.

Quote from the manual, “... maximum pressure to which the tire should be in inflated is given on the tire side wall in psi (lbf/in).
Caution: This pressure marked on the tire is the maximum allowed by the tire manufacturer. It is not the pressure Tesla recommends using for Model S.”

The door sticker is usually the go to however it lists the presssures for the tires/wheels your car came with. In my case it lists 19 inch wheels and 45 psi. With the 21” tires the pressure is 42 psi.
