What he said was coming in 6 weeks was a more advanced version of summon.

The smart parking thing is sometime next year (just like the cross country FSD drive has been for 2 years running now!)

Seems like right now it takes 12 weeks for it to auto park... 6 weeks would be a big improvement for sure... /S

So my car’s going to have to start getting a lot smarter in whatever the time frame. As now it won’t reliably enter or exit my space in the garage on summon. But I’m hoping they can eventually make this a reality, the thought of your car dropping you off at a restaurant in the rain, going to park and retrieving you after dinner is too rich, (fingers crossed).

In L.A., the savings you can get from not valet parking can pay for FSD within a few months.
