In my area, a tree supposedly took out 3 Power poles. I saw them replacing them but how does a tree hitting power lines pull down 3 poles? I lucked out and only lost power for 2 hours. The rest of my street has been without power for 3 days and ETA for back is Thursday

Yeah. Average annual precipitation for my area is about 20 inches/year.

Don’t know where in SoCal you live, but average annual rainfall in most areas in closer to 12”. We’re pretty much there.

For the first time in almost three days, it stopped raining.

Downtown LA alone averages 14. West LA 20. Most of the areas on the the coastal side of the mountains get more than 12 inches. The mountains well over 40 inches.

I’m in eastern LA County in light green area where LA, San Bernardino, and Orange County meet. My area does average 20 inches. The foothill communities near me even more.
