SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

I got a delivery scheduled for Monday and called to change for pick up.
rep told me no option for pick up and it will be only delivered to home.
Also making a final payment before the delivery is necessary..

I'm in Socal. does anyone got the same instruction?
I have my pick up scheduled for tomorrow, and I had to make the payment already. The documents you have sign prior to taking delivery will not show up on the account until you submit payment. All these documents showed up right after I made my final payment.

You can review them and save them for your records, but according to my delivery specialist, the documents wont be available for digital signature until 24hrs before delivery/pick up is scheduled. So technically, I should be able to sign everything today at 3pm.

Ordered 5/19 (close to you!) Hoping they dump some cars down here soon! :)
Congrats!
Still no soup for me. No VIN, that is. I did get a text asking if I could take delivery in July, of course I answered JULY. This morning my EDD moved from 6/27 - 6/30 to 6/28 - 6/30. Clearly there's TREMENDOUS pressure for Q2 numbers which doesn't make us the consumers feel warm and fuzzy about things like QC.

My worry is if they don't make the 6/30 date they lose all motivation to get me a car at all... Until 9/30 lol. I still think they'll come through by the 30th though. Enjoy your car!

Yes, the order process was super easy and stress free.

Then they start deleting features. The delivery dates range from 3 days away to 13 weeks away routinely. There's very little, if any, communication from corporate.

Here's my bottom line, and I suspect I'm not alone. I don't feel like a valued customer. At all. I don't need my hand held, and I appreciate the fact that Tesla arguably makes the best car at the best price. But I don't feel like a valued customer and that's A BIG DEAL.

We'll see what happens. If I get my car tomorrow and it's awesome, in the back of my head is that feeling that, as a customer I'm taken for granted. I'll feel that I can count on my rank in this hierarchical order to continue to manifest downstream. In my opinion, these dynamics propel a giant pendulum in terms of customer satisfaction. In this case, if not corrected, results can be devastating. Especially given the media bias against this company.

They have to see this. Each of you have a right to feel special. Nothing is more important from a sales perspective in my opinion.

Cheers.

And the not-so good publicity begins… hate to say I knew it was coming

Hey all, quick question to keep me a bit sane and make sure it didn’t get pushed back longer. Ordered my SR+ On may 23rd with a EDD of 9-12 at the time had a estimate of mid-late July for the past month and now showing 9-13weeks. Is that normal due to end of quarter? I’m not constantly looking at it but sure as heck would be annoyed if another 3 month got tacked on.

I think it is normal. I went from June delivery to September now. Not pleased.I guess be prepared to be annoyed like me.

I agree with this statement 100%. It feels as if they are taking advantage of the demand for their vehicles and not taking into consideration the actual customer viewpoint in the wait process. I guess it depends on your SA? But I haven't had 1 text/email from mine about anything in the process. This forces their consumers to get on forums like this to try and gain more information about their car because the manufacturer isn't transparent about it. Ridiculous in my mind. If the Tesla Model 3 wasn't the best EV in it's price range I would definitely be looking elsewhere.

I ordered 5/21 with an ETA of 4-12 weeks
Super annoyed with this waiting process and how Tesla isn't transparent about delivery times giving such large and ridiculous windows.
