Sudden Loss of connectivity

Hi All,

Daily commute area, good 4 g coverage as usual and suddenly lost connectivity, first time ever..
Mcu2 4g
Anyone else having issues this afternoon ? Happened suddenly about 3.30pm GMT.

Tried doing a foot on brake and hold down scroll wheels, not fixed.

Our Model 3 showing the same message in response to voice commands since this morning.

In-car Spotify, traffic status, and Satellite mapping (premium connectivity) are working normally. Assume Tesla has a gremlin somewhere in their network.

I literally have the lost connectivity icon, no connection at all. Wifi (hot-spot phone) does work. Just happened suddenly, seems very odd.

Forgot to say, I have free unlimited connectivity. Since Mcu2 upgrade, netflix seems to place me in NL, guessing it must be a Dutch sim they use.
Still nothing, total loss of connectivity, really frustrating.

Same here. Went down completely 14:30 or so. rebooted when off motorway - came back 10mins later then went again (but that may have been it picking up phone hotspot briefly - couldn’t really look closely).

Same here. Only occasional 1 bar 3G signal.

Yeh - MrsD was out in Heracles and comms was lost (according to TeslaFi) at 15:18 and regained at 16:55.

I lost mine earlier too.

No outages reported here although a few API timeouts which is not unusual as the car was parked in a semi-underground car park with poor mobile signal. A drive that took place (started 16:28) during the above 15:18 - 16:55 outage was fully captured.

As far as I am aware, UK SIM.

Heard a few people reporting this and it’s thought to be linked to the latest software update. A big fix will be along any day if it is

It's also back again for me now, just suddenly connected back to LTE.

Pleased to see this thread. I thought we might have damaged the LTE antenna this afternoon as the passenger door mirror got knocked whilst we were out and it seemed to coincide with the sudden loss of data connection. Was a really weird issue though. The satellite mapping disappeared and there was no Spotify. I set up a hotspot which recovered that, and started playing music. I turned off the hotspot, at which point the mapping disappeared as we drove, but the music continued uninterrupted. The LTE indicator was greyed out with a line through. It seems to have recovered LTE connectivity tonight again.

Driving down to Cornwall this afternoon and LTE disappeared about 3pm'ish. New MY - thought it was just a duff signal until I realised my phone was fine. Haven't re-checked to know if its come back.

Very bad car connectivity with us too yesterday. Assumed an antennae was down somewhere, but will check again today.

I had this happen yesterday, which made finding my next destination on the nav difficult. Very weird as I was in a town which has good 4g connectivity and my phone was fine.
