Lol Lumberton is far from ghetto. It's always interesting to hear that on this forum. I passed by there 2 summer's ago on the way to FL. I really liked the little Chinese take out place in the shopping area that has the SC.
Just a friendly reminder, this thread is for information on the progress of the Whitehall Supercharger.
Any more progress? Specifically are the high voltage lines on the new pole connected yet?
Previous posted pictures to this thread ( #386 on 1/3 ) showed a new pole with transformers but primary and secondary wires not connected.
That is the missing pictorial information that would define how close to operational the site is. Thanks!
There's a Red Robin right by the Oxford Valley Mall, very near the intersection of Route 95 and Route 1. I've noticed a few Red Robin/Supercharger pairings -- does anyone know if the chain has some formal relationship or agreement with Tesla?
Larken Associates owns the shopping center in Whitehall. They also have a property in fairless hills listed on their website. Edit: And Phillipsburg, Allentown, and Hillsborough.
Looks to me like he has a poor understanding of the SC network. As much as i would love the density to be there to support a SC in Whitehall AND Allentown, i can't see tesla doing that anytime soon.
Any chance someone could check on the status of this supercharger tonight or tomorrow? I'm going to NYC on Sunday and this will determine if I need to take our ice vehicle.
Ok so everything is 100% complete from a construction standpoint on Tesla's side. The meter is even hooked up but no power is being supplied yet. PP&L still needs to complete the last few wires on the pole for the transformer hookups. It will not be online this weekend.
