Thanks, BrianMA! I was just about to drive out there since there weren't any updated photos. It's a good thing I checked this thread first. It's an hour drive each way. I'm gonna wash the car instead.
Went for a nice drive today.
The pad that's there does appear to be for the transformer, but I don't see where they may be installing the switchgear and SC cabinets.
There's a very long trench leading to an electric access cover in the lot. The last photo is from the top of the parking structure for scale.
I believe the only thing left is the transformer install, hookup, and signoff. I would hope this can be done in the next week. But, I haven't heard anyone committing to that, so we just wait and see.
Be warned, utilities can be very slow when it comes to allocating power at these levels. It took nearly 2 months for Ocala, FL to come online after construction completed because the utility dragged its feet installing the transformer and hooking up to the grid.
I'm looking forward to this around Christmas when I'll be passing through on my way to NH.
Pouring rain all day and the cabinet door is ajar with the cables sticking out. Hope that doesn't hurt anything. Not bolted down yet. water piling up on the uphill side of the pad, comes up like a spring on the downhill side. could be hooked up, tested and ready for Thanksgiving with any luck.
