did you see an empty concrete pad which look like it was waiting for a transformer? I've seen pole-mounted overhead transformers at some sites, and I haven't yet seen an empty concrete pad in Espanola pictures, so I'm wondering if the pole mounted ones on the extreme right of this image are the transformers in this case:Yep - no green box anywhere
Those pole mounted containers are indeed transformers, but not the size needed for Superchargers. Likely for one or more businesses or feed for one or more homes (or apartment condo etc.).did you see an empty concrete pad which look like it was waiting for a transformer? Fair enough. It’s in Baldwin Township and is several kilometres from Espanola proper. As an update, based on a post to the North Bay Supercharger thread it looks like this Supercharger (which is now showing up in the Tesla app and on the car map, albeit as temporarily closed) may actually be called Baldwin, ON by Tesla:
Agree, but no need to have Espanola in parentheses imo.Note: this location will appear as Baldwin, ON on Supercharge Info when it opens, as I updated Supercharge Info yesterday, before any of the news came out. As the location is named Baldwin by Tesla, I’d ask @Doug_G to rename the thread to “Supercharger - Baldwin (Espanola), ON” . Thanks
Why is that? My car map says they are open. Did you stop by?Supercharging info map states Tesla opened the chargers on the 12 Dec but as we can see this is not the case.
