We knew it was coming based on the Find Us map. We didn't know where it would be.

Hopefully, this is the begining of a prolific partnership between Giant and Tesla. Giant has a partnership with Volta but L2 just ain't worth it in grocery shopping context.

This and Columbia NJ will take pressure off Tannersville.

Remaining PA mysteries: where will Monroeville and Erie 2 be built?

Wish they would install a pull through for a trailer. This would have been the perfect spot, considering it used to be a Truck Stop LOL

Stumbled onto this today. Here’s the current progress.

Is traffic reasonable as long as one isn’t going during morning or afternoon rush hour?
611 is a crappy but heavily commercial road that changes from 1 to 2 lanes frequently because the state won't spend money to widen it all the way so it is only widened where commercial building projects pay for it. But it is really just a problem if something happens on 80 and then it depends on which direction on 80 is backed up. I avoid the area on weekends and when Pocono Raceway is having a race weekend (Friday thru Sunday). But it is right off of 80 so it is convenient for travelers and traffic isn't as bad a problem because of the very short distance you have to travel to get there (one block off the exit). There's Tannersville Supercharger about 4 miles up 611, but you really want to avoid that on a weekend as it is in the Crossings Outlets which are inundated with people from NY on weekends for some reason. During the week both should be fine with traffic as long as no trucks overturn on 80.

Thank you! We drive from Syracuse NY to NJ fairly often, so I’m excited to try this out and see if it will replace our usual stop at Tannersville.

I picked a bad time. 80 West is stopped just west of Bartonsville. Photo is of rt 33 backed up from people trying to get on 80 west at Bartonsville. Traffic is heavy on 611 as people heading west are getting off at Bartonsville to get back on 80 at Scotrun which is a few miles north up 611. But getting to the Giant store isn’t too bad as there is a turning lane shortly after the left turn onto 611.

If anyone is interested in what is there besides the Giant food store, there is:

Vision Works and a pet store across from the chargers.
Then a Dollar Tree, Rent-A-Center, Spice Route (Thai/Indian food), East Gourmet Buffet, Beauty Nails, Franks Pizza, Bartonsville Family Dental, Cosmo Prof (salon products), Jersey Mike's Subs, and AT&T store.
