Yeah 611 is annoying lolI guess I’ll have to start shopping at the Giant in Bartonsville instead of the one in East Stroudsburg. I usually avoid 611 because the traffic can be horrendous especially on weekends but this is a nice find.
Wish they would install a pull through for a trailer. This would have been the perfect spot, considering it used to be a Truck Stop LOLWe knew it was coming based on the Find Us map. We didn't know where it would be.
Hopefully, this is the begining of a prolific partnership between Giant and Tesla. Giant has a partnership with Volta but L2 just ain't worth it in grocery shopping context.
This and Columbia NJ will take pressure off Tannersville.
Remaining PA mysteries: where will Monroeville and Erie 2 be built?
Is traffic reasonable as long as one isn’t going during morning or afternoon rush hour?Been a month since I was last here. Traffic on 80 was backed up so a lot get off at Bartonsville, onto 611 and that is then backed up. This is a pretty common problem here. Though by the time I got done shopping traffic had cleared.

Just looked and it shows as the closest Supercharger to me, with 8/8 available. I'll take a drive there after lunch to check it out.I hear the site opened yesterday. Can anyone confirm?
611 is a crappy but heavily commercial road that changes from 1 to 2 lanes frequently because the state won't spend money to widen it all the way so it is only widened where commercial building projects pay for it. But it is really just a problem if something happens on 80 and then it depends on which direction on 80 is backed up. I avoid the area on weekends and when Pocono Raceway is having a race weekend (Friday thru Sunday). But it is right off of 80 so it is convenient for travelers and traffic isn't as bad a problem because of the very short distance you have to travel to get there (one block off the exit). There's Tannersville Supercharger about 4 miles up 611, but you really want to avoid that on a weekend as it is in the Crossings Outlets which are inundated with people from NY on weekends for some reason. During the week both should be fine with traffic as long as no trucks overturn on 80.Is traffic reasonable as long as one isn’t going during morning or afternoon rush hour?
Thank you! We drive from Syracuse NY to NJ fairly often, so I’m excited to try this out and see if it will replace our usual stop at Tannersville.611 is a crappy but heavily commercial road that changes from 1 to 2 lanes frequently because the state won't spend money to widen it all the way so it is only widened where commercial building projects pay for it. The Starbucks is inside Giant.
