Looks like the Starbucks parking lot which is really disappointing. The Target parking made a lot more sense.
Drove by today and saw people working on it. Agree that target parking lot would have made more sense but at least there’s finally going to be a Supercharger in South Brooklyn after years of delays
Much needed indeed. Brooklyn museum just raised its prices to $10 an hour just to park so this will be the first supercharger with free parking in Brooklyn and also first V3 in Brooklyn.
Is this really going to be only 8 stalls? For such a large lot in a high density area, I’m hoping there would be at least 12-16.
Yea they chose probably the worst spot in the parking lot. Lots of cars entering and leaving the Starbucks drive thru.
Finally! But still think we need another one at Target regardless & hopefully Gateway (more far east of Brooklyn) too. Seeing too many Tesla in Southern Brooklyn recently, don't think 8 stalls in enough to fill the supply of Teslas we have here. Hoping for another one in between somewhere around Kings Plaza - Marine Park area or by the mobil station right on Belt Parkway.

There’s no real room at the far end of the isle for anything but stalls
That island near the corner is perfect for the the additional equipment
Yes I know they could trench and run to the far end from the island but that would take up and tear up an inordinate amount of the lot
plus skyrocket the cost

Tesla find us does show an additional station coming to Brooklyn NY by the end of the year but gives no details as to where. Hoping it's at either of those Targets off the belt
Especially when Tesla plans to open up their Superchargers to other EVs & articles recently stating "NYC, an EV charging desert" which I agree, 8 stalls is not enough supply, I really hope they continue their expansion not just in Coney Island.
Even though the Target lot looks appealing, remember, it’s a PITA to get back on the Belt Parkway west bound from that shopping center. You have drive up to Cropsey Ave along Bay Parkway and go around the block. There is no legal left turn onto the west bound Belt from Bay Parkway.

Thanks! Looks like 10 stalls instead of the 8 that were originally reported and they installed them on the other side of the entrance closer to the Raymour&Flanigan which is great. Hard to tell from the photos but could you see if they were the new magic dock stalls?
Hey guys, this site will not have 8 chargers or 10 chargers, it will have 16 chargers!!! 10 chargers on one side and 6 on the other side.
This location will be heavily used by TLC as it is easier to get to than JFK.
As of yesterday morning, 10 chargers closer to raymour & flannigan and 2 chargers closer to Starbucks were installed. There are clearly 4 additional chargers to install (Starbucks side) based on concrete work, pipework, and Tesla supercharger sign holders. In addition if you check permit you will see it was updated from 8 to 16 chargers.
