Spark power making some cable runs, waiting for hydro to throw in the transformer, make connections, have Tesla guy come out from the east to confirm proper connections, hydro gets approval, and in about two weeks should be good to go!

looks like the pump in the pedestal as in my car :)

Just drove by. Tape is off the handles. It was wrapped around them last week. Sorry couldn’t stop to see if that meant they were powered on.
I'll be driving by tomorrow and will provide an update. I was by last Tuesday and no meter yet and no one working on it
Awesome, seems close will be running through Tuesday and give this, Williams and Quesnel a look.

Once the BC Hydro Meter is installed it will take another 2-3 weeks to be switched on as Tesla then needs to send someone there. April 21, 2021 was the first real sign of construction at this location, so following the 3-4 month rule, expect full activation between July 15 and August 15. On a good note, all three SC's, Cache Creek, Quesnel and Williams Lake, will soon all be activated.

No meter, which I assume will be installed the same time as the transformer, which hasn’t arrived on its concrete pad.

I assumed the Tesla contractor had some inside knowledge when he said a couple of weeks, but it appears he was just guessing unfortunately.

was just at the new second Merritt location yesterday and it is in the exact same state.

And nice to get out of the fire smoke: none in Cache Creek!

Talking about fire smoke, I'm wondering if the fires will delay the activation of the SCs. It would be totally understandable if BC Hydro diverts the resources to help Lytton and delays the opening of these SCs.
