Just did a drive by of Black Bear Casino supercharger near Duluth. Landscape mulch is being placed. We are getting close!!! one charger on the backside that will allow for trailer pulling charging! Yes! Cybertruck accesible lol. I asked the guys working on the mulch and he said ETA opening in 1.5 weeks.

I would even be happy with their 72kW 'Urban' chargers. When I'm out in a remote location, having high power 250kW stalls is not nearly as important as just having something to get me on my way quicker than L2 chargers.

There aren’t any Tesla chargers in Grand Marais, but they did recently install 2 of these in town, and there is a dedicated EV charging spot in the Grand Marais campground by the marina.

Construction day 49 update: The site has been cleaned of all materials. Just waiting for the Meter now.

Operating temp -30c to +40c... Uh, it's Minnesota; it gets to -40 from time to time...

Says guy who'll be parking his model 3 in an unheated garage when it's colder than -20 for more than 24hrs at a time like Tesla says not to do...

At this point, it is all about the meter. Find the meter (or where it'll be installed).

Hoping it will be online this week. Taking a trip up the north shore and would like to avoid Duluth SC.

Construction day 57 update: The Meter is installed. The roped off area has reduced to just the immediate site and dedicated parking stalls. It would appear it’s just waiting for the Tesla Tech to arrive and do the site testing.

I charged there today. I drove from Duluth to verify. I'm a bit puzzled. I arrived with 40 percent and had told my car to navigate to hinkley sc since this one isn't populated yet. It claimed to be preconditioning for about 15 miles. I never saw over 72 kw. I tried two stations. 2018 model 3 lr awd. I'm pretty sure I've seen much higher rate at V2 stations with similar conditions.

I've had that happen with new V3 stations before. I think it's growing pains with the new superchargers sometimes.
