I went and checked last night around 8pm, still not on.

I stopped by at 9 pm yesterday. The yellow tape was removed but there still was no power to the stalls. Did not notice any numbering of the stalls either.

So far at 1 Mile away, I believe you are the closest.

I live in an apartment, and do not have charging outlet yet. I do have a SEMANetwork connection at work. Not sure how frequent supercharging is going to impact the battery life.

Looking forward to it opening. I have read that if you use superchargers exclusively Tesla will slow the charging rate so as to not damage the battery. It's funny to go check if it's open and see the teslas circling like sharks round a dead whale!!

Stopped by today. Two guys doing wiring inside the cabinets. According to them, the power company hasn't made the connection yet. Still no ETA.

Pepco is connecting the Transformers to the main lines today. The Supercharger will have power tonight. I am trying to find out if that means the stations will be turned on and open for business. I will check back tonight and again tomorrow.

Probably a few more days as Tesla will need to come out and certify them and number the stalls.

And maybe longer since there is a battery component to this site unlike any others around here that I know of.

Tesla supercharger tech on site! Covers off of all pedestals assuming for inspections.

So it looks like the stalls have some kind of power then?

I doubt that, the battery is about the same capacity as 4-5 cars, and the site is set up to charge 6 to12 cars(depending on states of charge), and I doubt they have stationary batteries charge at the same 1.5C rate as the cars do when low. I'm guess inspections and verifications.
