Those speed bumps are the type i wish were on my street! Speaking of SpaceX. Since their mission is delayed til Saturday, perhaps the completion of these chargers will happen Saturday. we can hope!

Greenbrae Supercharger is now open. I’m there now, behind CVS in Bon Air Center. Don’t expect super speeds. I’m getting 25 kW / 88 mph.

Not really an Urban Legend. It's just that over the years it was noticed that some sites would open, but the Mother Ship (for whatever reason) would hold off for a time before adding to the App. Also, charging payment sometimes took a while. May have been a coincident, but some sites popped up quickly after chargers opened. Some started collecting fees b4 appearing on the App. Bottom Line.... it sounds good that you MIGHT get by w/o paying, but.........

(Also, if you're first to charge, it increases your range by 5%)

I really wish Tesla would partner with a bunch of the common interstate sit-down restaurants and put these 72kW chargers in.

YAY!!! Thanks for all the updates. Will have to stop by soon to check it out. This morning my battery is 82% so will let it get down to something like 40% or so over the next few days before supercharging.

5:15 pm, Corte Madera showing 0/10 available so likely a line, while Greenbrae is showing 13/14 available...interesting that more people aren't using Greenbrae but they likely aren't noticing that new little red charging dot on the navigation...

I tried to charge there Tuesday, 12/15. No juice then. So they must have thrown the switch on Wednesday. Charged up on Saturday 12/19. This should pull volume from Corte Madera. Same urban chargers.

How can one add the Greebrae location to the chargers shown in the Tesla app? My app shows only Corte Madera, Marin City, and SF (which is a lot farther than Greenbrae).

You don't, basically. The four Superchargers on the app are supposed to be the four closest, or four of the closest, to where your car is. But whatever computes "closest" doesn't always seem to do the right thing in places that have a high density of Superchargers (like the SF Bay Area). Also if you're on the move, there's sometimes a delay while this computation catches up with where you really are...it doesn't update in real time (although the stall counts for whatever Superchargers are displayed are generally correct).
