Many PSEG & Electrician trucks have been there for a few days...looks like they are getting ready..FINALLY!

6-28-18 Update for the Islandia, NY SC; there was an electrical utility crew on site today. They connected the primary wires at the pole and landed the opposite ends inside one of the cabinets. The foreman told me that the "electrician still had to run their wires". He didn't know when that would be or when a meter might be installed or when Tesla would verify the installation. Frustrating.

This location got a call out in a recent Electrek article - Tesla deploys record number of Superchargers as usage increases with growing Model 3 fleet - under "There are some stations that haven’t even shown up on the Supercharger network tracking site yet." (in reference to supercharge.info)

It is in construction status on sc.info which looks perfectly accurate going by this thread. Is this correct or has it secretly gone live?

Blue tape/-no power. The electrical sub used Jersey code in NY and effed it up per LI Power. Probably won’t be remedied for a month per the security guy.

Ridiculous. Especially when summer is when people travel a lot on LI. We were stuck waiting in line for 1/2 hour on 7/3 in syosset which easily would have been no wait had Islandia been up. And for extra bonus the new plainview sc was temporarily offline on 7/3 the worst day for that to happen.
