I thought National Grid was the provider in Lowell?Still waiting for the utility pole to be installed by Eversource. There may be issues with that getting done... who knows when this will be complete.
The spare supercharger cabinet is awaiting pickup... (and has been for too long).
I'll swing by Lowes and run an extension cord..Sorry. Maybe it’s grid. Sounds like they came out to install the pole and determined that it couldn’t be done where the utility plan has stated it should go. So…. Hard to say when this site will come online.
Numbering occurs when Tesla techs come to commission the site typically... we could be weeks or months away from thatI'll swing by Lowes and run an extension cord..
I noticed that the chargers don't have Number/Letter marks on the bottom..
I go by this site everyday so will report any new activity.See post #45 above. Problems getting the pole installed to being power into the site. Utility company needs to redesign where power is coming in from and that will undoubtedly require the contractor to come back and do/redo conduit work to get the power to the transformer. This could to a while
At one point I thought Tyngsboro PD was playing ball with enforcing ICEing- is that not the case?I really hope they figure something out with this site soon. The Tyngsborough charger is quickly becoming overcrowded on weekends and is often ICEd by Tavern In The Square patrons.
Yeah. About that. I sometimes get on their nerves too by parking my car in front of their ice car in the stalls.I really hope they figure something out with this site soon. The Tyngsborough charger is quickly becoming overcrowded on weekends and is often ICEd by Tavern In The Square patrons.
I have called them on numerous occasions when all 12 stalls are in use and a non Tesla was in one stall. They never show up. You’d think they would be all over those fines for blocking a charging station. At one point I thought Tyngsboro PD was playing ball with enforcing ICEing- is that not the case?
There are lots of sites out there permit, in construction and/or finished but not yet open that don't show as "coming soon" on Tesla's map. I agree it's weird - really not sure what Tesla's criteria is for listing them.I stopped by yesterday and all is cleaned up, extra cabinet removed, etc. Looks like the only thing missing is the large green transformer from the electric company. The pad is poured and ready to go. I still find it odd that it is not on Telsa's map of current and future supercharger sites.
