I was just about to post the same thing

I'm guessing that's you Michael Konen. The tiger gives it away.

Dean

Haha nope. Here's a hint: " So cool that we're getting the Superchargers with glowing letters :p"

If you're Dean Miller, I believe we shook hands at the last National Plug In Day event in Atlanta. I have since got to drive a Model S P85+, my company's CEO's car at that. :D It was an absolute blast.

This also appears to be the first location were you can charge from either side of the Superchargers. Yes Hamilton, NJ has a similar structure, but that location was designed for one charger per space. This one appears that you could leverage one charger in two different spaces as long as the cord is flexible enough. Not sure if thats possible or not, but this is the first layout I've seen like this.

Nice

Charged at the Macon supercharger tonight! I knew superchargers were key to Tesla's success but I never dreamed after reserving my car in 2012 that a supercharger would be so close to home. And 135 kw to boot. Too bad for my A battery, but still pretty cool.

Could someone who gets an invitation to the Macon ribbon cutting ceremony please post the date and time on this forum? I asked to be sent notice of the Savannah ceremony, but never received any. Some of us ex-pat Maconite Tesla owners would at least like to have the option of attending.

Many thanks,

scoots

Atlanta is the last major US city without a supercharger within 150 miles, is it not?

Hmmm. Depends on what constitutes major.

Boise ID, Salt Lake City UT, Kansas City MO, Oklahoma City OK, Memphis TN, Little Rock AR, Birmingham AL, Louisville KY, El Paso TX all come to mind. Probably more if you use 150 road miles rather 150 straight line miles (e.g., St. Louis MO, Indianapolis, IN).
