Hard to tell from pictures, but it looks like there might be a drain there. They might have avoided using that stall so they didn't have to mess with the existing drainage. That's an odd "gap" in the middle of those....
Famous last words!Pretty much done it seems
Not sure to be honest. I just assumed it was nearly done since I saw them finish wiring the stalls and then removed all the construction equipmentFamous last words!
Seriously though, is there a transformer and meter on site? If not, it could be a while. Also, it seems trivial but Tesla won't activate it until that lamppost gets finished.
I predict Thanksgiving
But there's a pandemic... (**sigh** /me retreats back to hermetically sealed bubble...). Something similar happened last year. A ton of new SCs opened in the weeks prior to Thanksgiving. There definitely seemed like extra pressure on the SC department to wrap up as many stations as possible before the busiest travel period of the year. (And thereby minimize bad press.)Yes, I do think the goal is to have all these new superchargers up and running by the holiday season and ensuing holiday travel bonanza!
And yet all the public saw was the video of the long lines at the Kettleman City Supercharger that stretched on and on and on...But there's a pandemic... Clearly, the solution is for Tesla to stop manufacturing cars until the SuperCharger network catches up.And yet all the public saw was the video of the long lines at the Kettleman City Supercharger that stretched on and on and on...

That supercharger initiative pretty much went out the window when they introduced the urban superchargers in 2017 or whenever that was. What ever happened to Elon taking about limiting superchargers to road trippers and discouraging locals from using them. I admit I have gotten very annoyed waiting for a spot in Grants Pass and there were three cars charging with local high school/business stickers. That’s why, even though I have free supercharging I will try to never use our local one. I do realize apartment dwellers do have a good reason.
Is that you or a Tesla employee? Kind of looks like a Tesla employee commissioning it. If so, it should be live when he is done.View attachment 605264 Lighting up
