Another huge surprise! This will help the charging desert in The Big Empty (otherwise known as Eastern New Mexico and West Texas.)
I like this too. Prior to us switching from our ICE to the Tesla for trips between Abilene and Levelland, Post was our mid-trip stop when we needed one. Having this Supercharger (once open) means we can do that again with the Tesla.

I stopped by this location on Sunday but no signs of supercharger activity yet.
Interesting. Recent trip we made it all the way from Sweetwater to Plainview and vice versa on return, although if the Lubbock Toot-n-Totum had been open we would probably have taken a break there.

Went by today, no construction yet but these coned off spaces look suspicious:
This is encouraging and makes sense for a location there. This and Brownwood/Early would make Austin to Amarillo a lot more flexible.
Google streetview had those there in July 2023 when they last went through there. I really hope that is what the cones are but I am skeptical.

The Post Supercharger at the CEFCO on US-84 is now under construction. The cabinets are on site (though still packaged).
I didn't expect anything as I was driving through on my way to Levelland but was surprised to see construction. I quickly turned around and pulled in to take some quick pics. Sorry I didn't get anything better. I had my wife and dog in the car and didn't want to make them wait as I walked around taking pictures so I just took them in the car as I drove by.

Great news. This all but confirms for me that the Early location is the CEFCO also.
Drove by yesterday 12/12, posts are in the ground and uncovered. Workers were still onsite at that hour and inside the white Tesla cabinets.

We stopped at this CEFCO earlier this year and parked right across from this location. Little did we know we’d be able to charge next time

An odd manner of construction... Will be interesting to see how they finish this out. Conduits, Sleeping Policemen, etc.
Wonder why they didn't set in the premade 4 bangers?
