Equipment pad has been poured and it appears there will be a screen/fence around the equipment at this location. They are currently encasing the main feeder conduits for the transformer in concrete.

Utility pole has been erected and tied into overhead power...its the pole on the left behind the CenterPoint truck.

Curb/pedestal base has been poured.

The post caps were literally installed on the equipment enclosure between one photo and the next. Y’all true stalkers didn’t need me to point that out...

Indeed. I live here and keep forgetting the best route to Rudy’s. Wonder if just exiting for Williams Way and backtracking wouldn’t be simpler (and less trafficked).

Phase 2 underway...

Sawcut and trenching complete from utility pole to the "Phase 1" main feeder conduits. Construction fencing repositioned freeing up a few of the parking spots in front of the charging pedestals (where the blue 4x4 fork lift is parked in earlier photo) closest to the Rudy's.

All underground conduits for main utility feeders have been covered (in concrete) and utility transformer is the next big ticket item to happen followed by main feeders, meter, and installation of the fuses, which are hanging at the bottom of the utility pole.

Site cleanup is underway as well.

The GC has cleaned up the site and construction fencing has been removed and it appears the GCs heavy lifting is complete. Now we enter the all too familiar utility transformer waiting game.

Wheel stops are not always spec'ed in the installs, not sure why some locations receive them and others do not...but to answer the question, I saw no wheel stops installed or onsite through out the build.

Agreed...saw a few pickups backed into the Supercharger spots while flying by on the freeway today. And no transformer, btw. Just as long as they only take out one at a time we should be good. Haha
