We're going up in August, I'm looking forward to Ellsworth.

Well that's true. But we aim for lunch at Wiscasset - at Sprague's right by the bridge. I stood in line for the world-famous Red's lobster roll just once and was disappointed in the experience. Over an hour in line, blew the schedule to hell, had to eat in the car, lobster roll was quantity over quality. Sprague's I can get in & out (even with the minimal parking) AND eat on the dock AND get a picture of my daughter in the fish-shaped adirondack chair in far less time... charging the car as well as the people would be icing on the cake.
Yeah, but a charger most likely would be at the Irving gas station south of town, not at Spragues. I agree with you about Red's.

Let's talk lobster rolls. Red's really does have the best conventional lobster roll, I thought it was just because they don't gunk it up with mayo. You get the butter and mayo on the side. There must more to it than that however. A few weeks ago we went to Bounts Clam Shack in Warren RI. They also serve a huge lobster roll without mayo, but it just isn't as good as Red's, I'm thinking Red's lobster meat is fresher. At Spragues we get lobsters not lobster rolls.

The absolute best lobster roll is the warm butter lobster roll at Eventide in Portland. It's a miniature roll but it's vastly more flavorful then any conventional roll. We usually get a dozen oysters and rolls at Eventide. They also have an hour or more wait. What we've done is I drop my girlfriend off at Eventide to wait in line while I go to the Portland Supercharger, I charge and come back and they're ready for us.

Whenever we have guests up we take them to the Maine botanical gardens Home | Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens then lunch at the Trevett Country store.

As for ice cream, I miss Kimball farms, when I used to live in MA I would drive to Westford for ice cream.

Saco is under construction. Large fenced off area, trench dug in the median on one side, possible transformer pad on the other side. No sign of the various components, except one white cabinet. Is this what a prefab site looks like?

(Note "Tesla" on the shipping label on the crate.)

Still can't see if a utility transformer is onsite from the photos (which has been a regional bottleneck delaying openings months at times). A meter also would be needed (not sure if you can just see one on the right most supercharger cabinet in these pictures; hard to say).
Also the contractor typically will repave/seal coat and restripe the supercharging spots to align with the pedestals. This has not been done here, although the lines look pretty good as-is.

I was just up there. No transformer on the pad.
