Supercharger - San Carlos, CA (LIVE 30 Jun 2018, 19 Urban stalls)

And....it's open....well soft opening! Station is on currently but could also be off at anytime.

All spots are marked general parking with one van blue zone spot. Hopefully these will not be ice'd.

10A does not have a partner stall.

Edit: Tesla Technician just stopped by. Station is not officially open as they need to monitor the station overall for a couple of days first and if needed they can shut it off if they detect a problem.

You know I was JUST 10:15 pst driving by on 101 north and looked over all the median barriers and said to myself. ‘Hey the construction walls are down and it looks like cars are parked there, I wonder it is open?’

I’ll drive by on my way down south later today.

I just stopped by on my way back on south 101.. already three ICE cars parked in the spots. Signs simply say "Tesla General Parking" but it's sort of the logo word TESLA then underneath says "General Parking" so I think at various times, there could be several stalls taken by ICE cars.

We'll see. (man I hate that phrase)

Was there today. 1 space closed off for some nearby construction, 1 space ICE'd by a construction truck, and 1 space taken by a Tesla Model 3 parked the wrong way, not charging -- kinda amusing....

seems like the urban chargers have a lower max kW charge limit (the East PA one is like this too). Has anyone noticed a slower charge rate with these?
See Supercharging Cities

Quote: “Superchargers in urban areas have a new post design that occupies less space and is easier to install, making them ideal for dense, highly populated areas. To increase efficiency and support a high volume of cars, these Superchargers have a new architecture that delivers a rapid 72 kilowatts of dedicated power to each car. This means charging speeds are unaffected by Tesla vehicles plugging into adjacent Superchargers, and results in consistent charging times around 45 to 50 minutes for most drivers.”
