This will make trips from Charlotte to the northern Blue Ridge in N.C. easier, without having to charge in Boone or Mt. Airy.

There is already a 4-stall Electrify America station near the McDonald's close to the 40-77 interchange, but it is horrible. I've never gotten it to work with the EA app, just credit card, and I usually have to try 3 different stall before one works. Perhaps the Tesla supercharger will go in next to the EA install, so that folks can see how chargers are supposed to work. ;)

Another one at Lowes. Weird.

At least there is a Publix in the same lot. I think co-locating with a fast-casual option or grocery store is the best. Closest to mimicking a gas station where you can use the restroom and get a snack/drink.
You can normally buy some basic snacks and drinks at Lowes as well. And obviously use the bathroom.
Also, the bathrooms at Lowes near me are at the front of the store so more convenient. Home Depot wouldn't work as well. :p

Tesla already has a couple at Publix as well.

Good to see Statesville, SC back. 2 Interstates and 3 US Numbered Highways in the area.

Lowes has plenty of snacks and drinks and is usually open longer hours - like 6am to 10pm I think except on Sundays during DST. Closes at 9pm in the winter.
Pretty limited selection compared to a grocery store. Especially if you're looking for something remotely healthy. Luckily this location has the Publix.

Love the new Huntersville location in comparison. Obviously you can't get the same amenities everywhere. Still better locations than the random ones that were built out over the past 1-2 years like Old Fort. Very odd choices.

A Supercharger at the I-40/I-77 intersection. It'll be another Interstate transition handled.

Also on US-21 (which parallels I-77 in this area), and on US-64. Also near enough to US-70 to count.

Shopping center has a Lowes and Publix, both of which host Tesla Superchargers.

Are there others? Most are lowes grocery that i've seen, not HW.
This one in CLT thats under construction.
