We sometimes travel from the Richmond metro area to visit relatives OH, and take the I64 -> US250 -> I79 route, since it is more scenic. We haven't done that since getting the Tesla due to range anxiety. But it looks like new superchargers have opened since our last trip, and will re-enable this route for us. I'm thrilled that they're filling in the gaps in the network.
Tesla's website is not showing it live (although sometimes there is a lag from when the supercharger is operational and when Tesla's website reflects operational status). Also remember that supercharge.info gets it's info from these forums.
My friend who lives in Staunton stopped by today. He said Dominion Power was there. The guy told me they are waiting for one more cable to be run. He said it won't come online today, but should very soon.
