More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Yep, recent Supercharger sites are generally using these pre-fab Supercharger “modules”. The v3 cabinet supports 4 stalls, so they use these precast concrete pads and mount the Supercharger hardware at an assembly factory. Modules of 4 stalls each get delivered to the site on a flatbed trailer and dropped in place with a crane. This greatly reduces the amount of on-site trenching and other labor required to do an installation.

I’ve not noticed many that use pole-mounted transformers instead of the more typical pad-mounted transformer.
The attached photo was posted on North Texas Tesla Owners Facebook post.

Two fully assembled modules, being shipped to Buc-ee's @ Temple, TX for installation.

Streamlining the process.

Ditto. This will be my last new charger for a while. Gracie goes into the shop tomorrow to repair the body damage caused by the Glendale SC. It sounds like my car will sit for three weeks before anyone even looks at it. :-(

Why not bring it in 3 weeks from now then?
That does seem like the obvious outcome, but it is not how it's going to work. At least they are giving me a loaner (supposedly). Everytime I interact with them it is like the first time. I just want the car fixed and to not have to explain the story to them anymore.

I would suggest sending a tweet to Musk, but he'll probably suspend your account.

Perhaps letting sleeping dogs lie is the prudent course of action....

To use a Boy Scout analogy, I would hope that reaching 300 is like being a First Class Scout. I am mindful this is FAR away from earning a Star, Life or EAGLE badge that many of you hold. (sorry I dont know the Girl Scout equivalents -- nor would I argue against that #300 is more consistent with being a Second Class Scout).

be safe out there!

Tried to swing through all of Houston, but ended up skipping the ones in the center of the city as we were running into rush hour and wanted to make it to our hotel in Baton Rouge before midnight. We did stop a couple times for far longer than needed as we were looking for a pack of ESB beer to get as a gift for my father-in-law. Turns out they're very hard to find in America. Eventually found a 6-pack at a Total Wine in Houston, and another at a place called Hop City in Birmingham, that's got 1200-1300 varieties in stock, but only one ESB.

Has anyone thought about doing Japan, only 50ish Superchargers, all within reach of each other, nice circular path should let you hit them all. If Hertz rents Teslas there, just take a futon and throw it in the back (get it, futon? Japan?) You could do the while country in under a week, they probably have weekly rentals... I assume they have McDonalds

I don't know if this is easily available in Texas / Louisiana, but it's available year-round in the North Carolina mountains, and can be ordered online.

Yes! That one is available at the local shop in Tennessee, we were just looking for other varieties. There were some local breweries that supplied the cans that we bought, though more would have it on tap than canned/bottled.

Thank for the tip though! If you know of others in the area between San Antonio and Nashville, I'll take them under consideration for next year!

First multi-supercharger day in the Y -- 600 miles. The added range and charging speed make a BIG difference! (So does paying for supercharging.) In the interest of time (we got a late start), I only managed one new-to-me charger yesterday:
