More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Fall 2023 Road Trip - Day 6 - 385 miles; 7 hr 5 m driving; 6 new Superchargers.

Yet another time TeslaFi didn't log a Supercharger - this time at Denver - Tower Rd. In fact the car cell service was dead there, which was surprising since it's close to the airport. We couldn't get any new locations to be accepted in the nav software, yet our cell phone service was fine.

I'm late to the game once again with a 9-day-old local-ish new-to-me check-in (that's a lot of hyphens!):

I'm expecting I'll be able to pick up a few more later this month (solo trip to Syracuse and family trip to Westchester County NY), and again in November (solo trip to Pittsburgh, potential trip to NYC, and maybe 1-2 between home and BWI).

Day 36: 581 miles. Zig-zagged my way down Illinois from Wisconsin to just north of the Mississippi/Tennessee/Arkansas/Missouri juncture.

I was shocked with Springfield, Illinois. The town felt like a dying town. So many run-down and empty buildings. The primary emotion I felt while driving through the town was despair. No way out for so many people. It isn't a tiny town, so how did it get so bad?

Was pleasantly surprised by the Wally's in Fenton, MO. They clearly mimicked Buc-ees, but they did it much better. The bathroom was very nice. Well lit with lots of room. The stalls were individual rooms with lights to indicate which stalls were in use, just like so many parking garages use these days. The main shopping area had lots of open space and didn't feel as overwhelming as a Buc-ees. Of course, they also mimicked the huge number of gas pumps. Can't wait for the day when they are all replaced with EV chargers.

I was going to visit the National Remembrance Museum (aka the lynching museum) tomorrow in Montgomery, but it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Day 37: 656 miles. Mt. Vernon, Illinois to Birmingham, AL.

Enjoyed a stop at the southern tip of Illinois at the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers. After a long day, I was ready to get to the hotel, but there were three superchargers in the area of Birmingham to clear first. The goal was to do a bare-minium charge at each. At the first supercharger, Gardendale, the plan was waylaid right out of the gate when a nice couple stopped to ask me about EVs. They were very engaged and had all the standard questions. They'd been fed so much FUD. I was with them for about an hour. So much for my plan, but I think they will soon be a Model Y owner. A fellow Model S owner gave them his referral code (Virginia doesn't allow them, so there is no value in sharing mine).

I love seeing when two bodies of water join. It is always a bit surprising to me how clearly you can see the boundary.

We've started a long road trip to the PNW. The original plan was that I would do the drive to and from WA solo, and my wife would fly to Spokane to meet me, and fly out of Spokane at the end of the WA/OR part of the trip. I would use the drive out and back to pick up as many Superchargers as practical.

But, a few days ago she decided she wanted to do the drive out with me, as I would be going through the SD Badlands, and to Mount Rushmore. She has zero interest in picking up new Superchargers, so I'm only going to be getting a few check-ins every day. I might be able to sneak in perhaps two more charging stops than I otherwise would need for the most efficient day's driving - to give her a chance to stretch her legs, of course, because I am such a great husband.
